Flawless Foundation Routine
Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog! It has been roughly 7 months since I first posted my drugstore foundation routine. I'm not sure how its been quite that long, but I've updated a few items since. I've gotten my new foundation routine down to a science and I can to it pretty quick. Also, what I've changed up makes my skin look flawless, so theirs that. I have very dark circles under my eyes and I've spent the last 12 years trying to hide them. Now I've got it all figured out!
Step 1: Wash your face. Seriously, even if you think your skin is clean. It's not, all of the dust, dirt and debris in the air sits on your skin. Also it helps remove any dead skin or dry patches that makeup clings to.
Clean and Clear (step 1) Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion
Step 3: Prime your face. A primer helps keep your makeup in place much longer than it would without any. Find the right primer for your skin, they’re hundreds. I usually only apply it around my nose, cheeks by my nose and my chin. Since it is for pores, it works best to press it into the skin.
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Erasing Primer
Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless (Porcelain)
Revlon's ColorStay Makeup for Combo/Oily Skin (Nude)
Step 5: This part is one of my favorites. Concealer! I have very dark, reddish purple under eye circles. They are genetic and nothing has made them go away over the years. A good concealer makes all the difference in the world. I bought the Ulta brand one on a whim and i actually really love it. It claims to be waterproof, and it does stay on better than any other concealer I've tried.
Ulta Beauty Full Coverage Liquid Concealer (Light Cool)
Coty Airspun Loose Face Powder, Naturally Neutral
Step 7: Lets add some life back info my face! This is where I get into Blush, Bronzer, sometimes I try to Contour, and a blinding Highlight. After all the loose powder is dusted away, I bronze up in the standard 3 shape and under the chin. I try to go light with blush, I flush naturally even through makeup lol. I don’t know how to contour very well, it’s more of the fact I need a contour kit lol.
